The Order of Malta is a 900-year-old lay religious order, with a mission to protect and defend the faith as well as to provide service to the sick and the poor.
The New York City area chapter of The Order of Malta often collaborates with ArchCare centers around the city, including the Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center.
Detective Stephens visited the school on Tuesday to give students an inside look at what a career in the NYPD could look like and how the organization offers individual support to its members during their time with the service.
